Cool Nail Chick Fun, funky, and affordable nail art design inspiration ideas and tutorial

Today getting a tattoo is as common as getting your ears pierced, yet many still see it as a sign of rebellion, a sign that you're edgy, and a badge of angst-filled honor.  Meeting up with strangers and talking about your tattoos has become a substitute for combating social anxiety without the weed.  Body art certainly has its time and place, and I know plenty of people who would rather die than remove their tattoos or piercings. That being said, some teenage impulses are best left to the confines of that drunken memory you once had with friends. Do you remember that time when you were 17 and you were debating between getting that superman, butterfly, dolphin, celtic thorn, crucifix, marijuana leaf, Winnie the Pooh, Pokemon, Nsync, Penn State, or My little pony tattoo?
Remember when this totally defined you and you thought, "I so need that tattoo.  Twilight forever!"?
What about those angst ridden days of your youth when this seemed like a really good idea?
Or what about the time when....
How bout that time when you went on spring break to Mexico and you swore to your mom the place looked perfectly clean and sanitary when you got the belly button piercing...
You get the picture. Anyway, so with body art there can be a certain, buyer beware component to them. But with Nail art, the regrets are pretty limited. You can mess up, and then just wipe it away. You can do it yourself for cheap or pay a professional.  When you go to that job interview, you don't have to worry about the full out gothic look you donned last night making a bad impression on your too straight laced bosses, because you can just paint right over it, unlike the facial, hand, & neck tattoos that aren't so easily hidden. If you wanna be girlie one day and wear ladybugs on your nails, then want to look punk and paint on that anarchist sign the next, so be it.  The look that defined your nails 2 decades ago can be completely different from today, and it will barely cost you a thing. The world is your oyster, and this oyster probably won't cause an infection unless you use artificial nails. Yes, nails are custom to chipping and maintenance, but tattoo lovers will also tell you that your tattoos need maintenance as well. And the best thing of all that makes nail art my fave, you can't add glitter to tattoos!
